Michael Cranwell, LNHA, serves as Vice President of Safety & Operational Preparedness for American HealthCare, LLC. Michael joined the organization in 2012 as an Administrator-in-Training at Heritage Hall Blacksburg and has served in multiple leadership roles throughout his career, including Assistant Administrator at Heritage Hall Big Stone Gap, Lexington, and Rich Creek, as well as Administrator of Heritage Hall Rich Creek and Heritage Hall Blacksburg. In 2021, he joined the Resource Center, where he supports a variety of corporate initiatives including staff development, training, privacy, and compliance. Michael was appointed Vice President of Safety & Operational Preparedness in 2026 and provides leadership for the organization's emergency preparedness, and operational readiness programs. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Averett University and is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Michael lives in the Roanoke Valley with his wife and two children and enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, playing tennis, and coaching his kids.
