DON: The Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing services within the facility to ensure the highest quality of resident care. This role provides leadership and direction to nursing staff, ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and implements clinical policies and procedures. The DON works closely with interdisciplinary teams to promote resident safety, satisfaction, and positive clinical outcomes while managing staffing, budgeting, and quality assurance initiatives.
