Heritage Hall Tazewell specializes in providing the best care available in a small town setting. You will feel the special bond among our residents, families, volunteers and staff.

For more than 30 years, our highly trained professional staff has taken care of our patients’ every need, from routine nursing to more complex care like specialized wound and trach care, vestibular rehabilitation, feeding tubes, IVs, vital stim, and physical, occupational, and speech therapy. We accept private insurance, UMWA, Medicare and Medicaid.

We are very proud to be recognized for our exceptional therapy team. Together they work in a specialized unit for skilled nursing care and rehab patients. The unit boasts private rooms, a therapy gym, and a specialized ADL suite to practice life skills before returning home. We provide therapy on both an inpatient and outpatient basis.

Patients enjoy a social calendar that has a wide range of activities like rhythm band, pet therapy, cooking classes and excursions into the community or countryside. Our 180-bed facility employs over 160 local residents, making us one of the largest tax-paying employers in the town of Tazewell.
