Make no mistake, you’re in Hokie country when you come to Blacksburg, and this is the beautiful town where the very first Heritage Hall was built more than 35 years ago. Our oldest building is actually one of our leading edge facilities, boasting solar power, electronic medical records, outpatient speech, occupational and physical therapy, and cutting edge therapeutic technologies like vital stim and lymph edema therapy.
Our recognized therapy department specializes in skilled nursing and rehab following hospitalization and offers private rooms, two courtyards, and private dining for short-term residents seeking to build their strength and return home. For residents needing extended care, our specialized home-like wing has nurturing staff, a full calendar of activities, and over 200 community volunteers focused on making you feel at home.
We’re proud to hold one of the few 0-deficiency life safety inspections awarded in the state, and we employ 170 local employees in the New River Valley. Heritage Hall Blacksburg is located in the town’s commercial and residential center, next door to Lewis Gale Montgomery Regional Hospital, and within just a few miles of Virginia Tech, New River College and Radford University.
